Somerville, Bostic arrested in March 2019 homicide

On March 27 at approximately midnight, Swainsboro Police Department responded to 540 Gumlog Road to a business known as Gilley’s in reference to a gunshot victim.

Upon arrival responding officers observed a black male, later identified as Jamichael Jarrod Walker, lying outside the business. Further investigation revealed injuries on the body consistent with multiple gunshot wounds. Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bust at Latitude 105

This morning at approximately 4 a.m., the Swainsboro Police Department, along with Sheriff’s deputies and Twin City PD raided Latitude 105. Approximately a dozen arrests were made. Josh Alford, assistant special agent in charge with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Eastman field office, is calling the search for answers in Priscilla Riner’s death an all hands on deck effort.

UPDATE: According to Emanuel County J. Tyson Stephens, there is now enough evidence to determine that Riner’s death was at the hands of someone else. The investigation is being treated as a homicide.

According to the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office, Priscilla Riner, the defendant in a local high-profile murder case, was found deceased this afternoon, September 24, at approximately 12:30 p.m. She suffered a fatal gun shot wound to the chest. On Tuesday, July 16, 2019, an Emanuel County grand jury indicted seven members of a Bloods-affiliated racketeering enterprise after receiving testimony from Special Agents of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Eastman Office and the Washington County Multi-Agency Gang Unit.
