Have you received a call from someone posing as a Federal Agent stating you had not appeared as a juror in Federal Court? If you haven’t yet, you could receive that call. This is a scam! The caller will seem legitimate because he gives a fake badge number and uses a federal judge’s name, saying you will have to appear before the judge in Savannah. He then insists that you pay over the phone a large fine for Failure to Appear to avoid being picked up by law enforcement. One number being used for this scam is 404.825.4711. Do not give these con artists your information.
