September 5
Officer ran the license plate of a vehicle to find it had no valid insurance, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Vehicle was towed.

Officer was dispatched to W. MLK Blvd. in reference to a person trying to get into the wrong house. Offender was under the influence and tried multiple times to get into the residence. Several minutes later, offender tried to go back to someone else’s home, so he was arrested for public drunk and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle traveling 60 MPH in a 45 MPH zone, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer asked the driver for his license and was presented a citation that was given by GSP for DUI. While speaking with offender, officer noticed a pill bottle near the center console with a homemade label on it. Officer ran the driver’s license to find they are suspended.
September 6
Officer observed a vehicle fail to maintain lane, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s person and his eyes were bloodshot and sleepy looking, and had slow, slurred speech and was mumbling. Officer asked the driver how much alcoholic beverage he consumed, and he stated none and looked away. Driver was asked to step out of his vehicle and was unsteady and unbalanced, at which time officer performed a field sobriety test and attempted a PBT test. Offender was advised he was under arrest and tried to snatch away from officer and began to fight deputy. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to KT’s in reference to harassment and threats. Complainant stated he pulled up to the pump and got out to pump gas and offender pulled up and began threatening him and the passenger got out and threatened him also. C/p advised this is not the first time he has had incidents with the individuals.
September 7
Officers were on E. Pine St. and observed a male subject on a bicycle without a light on after dark. Offender identified the male subject who was found to be wanted by ECSO, and they wanted a hold placed. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer noticed a vehicle make an illegal turn, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. The driver handed officer an expired license and stated he thinks they are suspended. His license was not suspended but was expired. Offender was cited with two citations and released.
Officers were dispatched to N. Green St. in reference to an unwanted person. Complainant stated offender came over attempting to start drama because she went somewhere with her sister, and she does not want him at her house because she is scared he is going to hit her. Offender stated nothing was going on but was observed stumbling with bloodshot eyes and a strong smell of alcoholic beverage coming from his person. He was asked how much he had to drink, and he stated a lot. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
September 8
Officer responded to Prosperity Dr. in reference to a caller stating his son’s bike was stolen out of their yard. C/p advised a young male subject walked in his yard and took the bicycle. The bike was found at the intersection laying off the roadway and returned to the owner.
Officers were dispatched to El Valle for a subject threatening an employee. Complainant stated offender had a problem with her food and wanted a refund and was told they could not do that, and offender started cussing and threatening c/p.
Officer was on a traffic stop when two vehicles failed to move over or slow down while passing by. Officer finished his stop and made a stop on the passer-by vehicles. One driver was cited and released and the other did not have her license on her and was given a citation but refused to sign it and was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle coming off Electric Dr. fail to yield, nearly crashing into his patrol unit. Officer initiated a traffic stop to find the vehicle had suspended registration and no valid insurance. Vehicle was towed and offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
September 10
Officer conducted a traffic stop on N. Main St. to find the driver to be in possession of marijuana.
September 11
Officer observed two subjects walking into the area of Jordan Estates and made contact with them. Officer asked if they lived in the complex and the male subject stated no but his aunt did. Officer asked for their identification and the male subject provided his, but the female stated she did not have hers on her. She gave her name but would not give any more info. Officer then ran the male subject through GCIC, and he came back wanted for Tifton. The male subject’s demeanor changed when backup arrived, and he began to take small steps back. Officers attempted to detain offender, and he resisted and continued after several verbal commands. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to Raco in reference to an individual refusing to pay for lottery. Offender stated the scanner was over charging her for the tickets she filled out and refused to pay for them. The store owner explained how the lottery tickets are played, and officers were certain the scanner was not over charging offender. After explaining everything to offender she was still persistent on her belief that she was over charged. The owner asked for offender to be trespassed from the premises, so she was issued a warning. Offender was very rude and spoke over officers every time they tried to speak to her.
Officer responded to SPD for a walk-in report. Complainant stated she was in contact with offender for the purpose of renting property. C/p advised the house needs some work to be livable and she and offender agreed to let c/p do renovations before she moved in and it is now becoming difficult to get offender to answer her phone calls. C/p sent offender $300 for the deposit then met with her and gave her $500 for the first month’s rent and to get the lease agreement.
September 12
Officer was dispatched to Latitude 105 to assist EMS. Complainant advised that offender did not reside there but tried to meet with a tenant. When the tenant opened the door, offender began seizing and fell, hitting his head on the floor. When EMS arrived and began treating offender, he refused treatment and began walking. C/p advised he wanted offender criminally trespassed.
Officer ran a vehicle tag to fine it had no valid insurance and suspended registration, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. The driver’s license was also suspended. Vehicle was towed and offender was released with citations.
Officer was dispatched to Calhoun St. in reference to a domestic. Complainant stated she was asleep and offender grabbed her and started choking her. Throughout the investigation, c/p gave multiple altered statements from initial statement. Offender stated he did not put his hands on c/p and that c/p was mad and went in fussing and he got in her face and yelled at her and c/p called 911.
Officer was dispatched to Drake Ave. in Twin City in reference to a domestic. Complainant was pointing around yelling that offender went around the house. Officer then noticed a female/victim with blood spots on her shirt and a laceration on her head. Victim stated she had offender’s phone because somebody texted him and she looked in his phone to find that some messages had been deleted where he was talking to somebody and she told him to get his stuff and go. After she told him to leave, they started having a verbal argument and offender called his mother. When offender’s mother arrived, offender grabbed victim from behind and choked her and drug her to the kitchen and started punching her in the face and head. Victim stated she finally got up and ran outside and offender continued hitting her and pushed her to the ground. Victim advised she tried to call 911 but offender broke her phone so she couldn’t call. Offender’s six-year-old was present during the altercation. C/p stated she pulled up, her son/offender was hitting victim so she stepped in to try to help by punching her son and she called 911. Offender was GOA and officers attempted to locate him.
September 13
Officer was dispatched to S. Coleman St. in reference to an entering auto. Complainants stated they heard their dog barking and looked out to find someone in their car. C/p opened the door and saw a male subject walking away and he called 911. $11 was taken from the vehicle.
