According to the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office…

September 3

Deputy was dispatched to Racket Town Rd. in reference to property damage. It appeared as though a vehicle traveled off the roadway and through a portion of complainant’s fence. C/p advised damages to be appx. $900. Offender was found to have been the operator of the vehicle and no contact was made with him at the time.

September 4

Victim was traveling inside of a marked Dept. of Transportation construction zone when he struck a slim plastic vertical cone that was placed in the roadway indicating the lane was shut down. Vehicle sustained moderate damage but there were no injuries.

September 5

Deputies took a report over the phone where complainant stated offender pulled her out of a car and beat her in Statesboro and at her home. C/p also stated she did not make a report at the time and is reporting it now because offender has been riding by her house at night and sitting in her yar. C/p also stated she has been receiving threatening messages from offender.

September 6

Deputy met with complainant at ECSO in reference to a lost/stolen tag. C/p stated he is unsure when the tag went missing but it has been parked at his residence.

Vehicle was traveling on I-16 when she hit a rock and her right front tire and rim was damaged and had to be replaced.

Vehicle was traveling on I-16 when she hit a large rock and her left front tire causing the tire to go flat and was beyond repair.

September 7

Deputies were dispatched to E. Norris St. due to victim’s stepdaughter attacking him, as well as damaging his home. C/p showed scratches on his face from offender and damages to the master bedroom. C/p also advised that when offender left, she returned, and he thought she had a weapon screaming profanity in a violent manner while he was laying in his bed. Deputies left the scene and was dispatched back after c/p received messages, as well as phone calls, stating offender slashed the tires on c/p’s semi-truck.

September 8

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 56 South in reference to speaking with a female who stated a male subject had been staying with her for two weeks and she wanted him gone from her residence. 911 also advised complainant stated offender had fought with law enforcement before and possibly had a gun at the residence. Deputy arrived and met with c/p and stated after learning things about offender, she wants him gone. C/p advised she has asked offender to leave and he refuses because he is claiming c/p owes him $750.
