September 8

Victim went to ECSO and stated she received a phone call from someone stating they were with Truist Bank Fraud Dept. and she had some transactions on her account and they wanted to verify if she did them. C/p was given the transactions that she was unaware of, and the unknown subject started asking for personal information but c/p did not give it to them. C/p also stated that on Monday, Sept. 10, the number called back and was trying to get her to take $1,000 out of her account and send it through Western Union and she told them she knew it was a scam.

Deputy met with complainant at ECSO in reference to a civil matter. C/p stated she received petition for legitimation papers from a law firm in Dublin about a petition to legitimize a child she has with offender’s boyfriend. C/p stated she and the father have talked about legitimizing and agreed to file together. C/p stated the father’s girlfriend/offender has been harassing her and works for the law firm the papers were sent from. C/p provided the paperwork in question which has not been filed through the Clerk of Court in Emanuel County but appeared to be from Emanuel County Courts. No civil action number was present on the paperwork. C/p also pointed out that the father’s signature on the paperwork does not match his signature and knows he was out of town working on the date that offender notarized that the father signed the petition. C/p believes offender sent the paperwork to her out of spite due to previous threats of trying to take the child from c/p and doesn’t think the father sent the paperwork or that the firm knows offender did this. C/p was advised to speak to a partner in the law firm and ignore the paperwork due to not having been filed in Emanuel Superior Court.

Deputy was dispatched to Falcon Trail in reference to a domestic dispute. Complainant/offender stated she and victim are in a relationship and have two children together and he stays with her during the week. C/p also stated the two have a history of physical domestic disputes. C/p stated victim kicked her front door in. While deputy was speaking with c/p, the boyfriend called her phone and deputy spoke to him. He stated c/p had been sitting on the front porch all night drinking and he got up for work and they got into an argument and c/p kicked the door down. The incident occurred in the presence of both children. Deputies have a history of being called to the residence for domestic disputes and know c/p has a history of alcohol abuse and is typically the primary aggressor in incidents.

September 15

Deputies responded to Twin City in reference to vehicle damage. Complainant advised her car had a flat tire and had a symbol sprayed on it, as well as damage to her passenger tire.
