Glenda was born on December 17, 1949, in Baxley, to the late Lois Lee Braswell and Fannie Lee Love Braswell. She was known for her calm, quiet and sweet nature. Glenda had unwavering love and support for her family. She was a devoted wife and mother, always there to give a soft-spoken word of encouragement and sound advice. Glenda loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and exemplified James 1:19 “Quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger”. To know her was to love and adore her. Glenda had a smile that would melt your heart. Her hobbies included reading, planting flowers, watching soap operas and she loved to laugh but most of all, she loved being a mother and grandmother who taught her children to be kind and loving. Glenda was not only a dedicated wife and mother, but she was also a dedicated worker with a strong work ethic. She carried that work ethic to every job she held. Glenda worked at Creston’s Knitting Mill, then worked at Roper (AYP) for many years. She also worked at H & R Block before retiring. Her later years were spent at home loving and serving her family well. On her hardest days, she always found joy in cracking jokes and making others laugh. Glenda is now made whole and worshipping at the feet of Jesus. She will be missed terribly. Mrs. Moxley is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Vicki Moxley; brothers, Jimmy Braswell and Johnny Braswell; sister, Mary Elizabeth Barwick; and son-in-law, Sewell Beasley.
