Elder James Larry Beasley, age 77, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. Graveside service was held Monday, August 7, at 11 a.m. at Oaky Grove Cemetery with Elder Lee Price officiating. Family received friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 6, at the funeral home.
Mr. Beasley was born on October 28, 1945, in Johnson County, to the late Woodrow and Donieree Poole Beasley. He was a Primitive Baptist minister. Elder Beasley is preceded in death by his wife, Janette Johnson Beasley; and two sons, Bruce Alan Beasley and Timothy Eugene Beasley.
Elder Beasley is survived by his son, Terry L. Beasley (Maria) of Kite; daughter, Jennifer Ogle (Ryan) of Warner Robins; six grandchildren, Amber Hunnicutt, Brandon Beasley, Dylan Hunnicutt, Dalton Hunnicutt, Klyne Beasley, and Little Terry Beasley; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
