Alvin B. Lloyd, affectionally known as Al, age 69, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at his residence following an extended illness.

Al was born July 9, 1955, in Swainsboro, to the late Tealang Lloyd, Sr. and the late Iomia Harmon Lloyd. Al was educated in the Emanuel County School System and was a 1973 Graduate. He was a devoted member of The Greater Saint James Missionary Baptist Church. Alvin worked many years beside his father at their family business (T. Lloyd Scrap and Metal). Mr. Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Elmer S. Lloyd; son, Marcus Alan Vinson; siblings, Tealang Lloyd, Jr., Debra Lloyd and Vernita J. Lloyd; and a special uncle, Charlie W.
