The Swainsboro Rotary Club met for lunch September 28th at Rustic Grill. After President Morgan Boulineau called the meeting to order, Rotarian Eric Wheeler introduced guest speaker Gary Mason.
Mason presented the program on Wreaths Across America, sharing the history of the national organization and discussing the local effort to honor veterans in Emanuel County. Wreaths Across America works to place a wreath on the grave of each veteran in participating communities.
The program provides an opportunity for the community to remember and honor local veterans while ensuring their service is not forgotten. Those interested in supporting the Wreaths Across America effort in Emanuel County are encouraged to get involved through donations, volunteering or helping identify veterans' graves.
