June 7

Officer was dispatched to Rainbow Ridge in reference to a call about a domestic. The complainant/ victim stated that the offender punched her in the eye. There was visible swelling and bruising to her eye.

Officer responded to Gumlog Road in reference to a 911 call where an argument could be heard in the background. 911 advised that they called c/p back and she stated that she did not need the police anymore. Officer went ahead and stopped by the residence and spoke with c/p. She stated that she did not need a report but advised that she and the offender had gotten into an altercation where he pushed her and she pushed back. The offender then stated that he was going to shoot her house up. A report was made in case another incident occurred.

Officer responded to Dairy Queen in reference to a report of a fight in the parking lot. Offender stated that his daughter called him to come pick her and her children up from the restaurant because her and her husband were arguing. Upon his arrival, he stated that he asked the victim to get out of the car to talk and that he did not lay his hands on him. The victim stated that the offender threatened him but did not touch him. Both parties were advised to separate.

Officers were dispatched to West Church Street in reference to someone coming on their property and putting up a no trespassing sign. C/p stated that she lives in the house with two other people and that the offender had given them the residence about 5 years ago. She advised that the offender had been coming to the house for the past two weeks and harassing them and then put up a no trespassing sign and told them to get out of the house.

C/p came to SPD to report a case of identity fraud. She stated that someone used her information to order an iPhone 13 Pro. She stated that she got the order cancelled but needed to file a report for the account.

Officer responded to West Church Street for an unwanted person at the residence. Officer remembered a previous call to this residence on their most recent shift. C/p stated that the offender cut her power off and that he was yelling that he wanted his house back.

Officer responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. C/p advised that the offender was not scanning all of his items and a handgun was visible in his pocket. Offender was arrested.

Officer responded to South Green Street in reference to a call about a stolen gun. C/p stated that a man came to his house and took a gun and a Cashapp card. The offender was located and arrested.

June 8

Officer was requested at SPD for a report. C/p stated that she pulled into the gym the Saturday prior and saw two men. She told them that she had a cat stuck under her vehicle and that she would pay them to get it out. They then proceeded to push her and take her keys. She then got up, took her keys back, and left.

Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to someone leaving a note on someone’s car. C/p stated that it was the second time that this had happened.

Officer was dispatched to East MLK Street in reference to damage to a vehicle. C/p stated that she was traveling down North Coleman Extension Street when she approached a group of juveniles standing in the road and honked her horn. They then began throwing rocks at her vehicle.

June 9

Officer was dispatched to Nails for U & Tan in reference to a call about a dispute. C/p stated that she was getting her nails done and that her child’s father pulled up with his new girlfriend. She then approached his vehicle to ask for the money that he owed her, he did not reply, but instead made a firearm visible to her. She stated that she was upset because he had already pulled a gun on her once. The offender’s girlfriend stated that c/p had been threatening her and was yelling at her in the parking lot.

Officer was dispatched to South Main Street in reference to a domestic in progress. The victim and a witness stated that they were at Rustic Grill eating, and after they finished the offender was cursing at his daughter because she did not have any money on her card to pay. He then got in his vehicle and would not allow her to shut her door and almost threw her out of the vehicle. C/p and witnesses were in the vehicle as well. Offender was still irate upon police arrival and was handcuffed. He was then arrested.

June 10

Officers were dispatched to South Main Street in reference to a shoplifting. The offender was trespassed from the store and issued citations.

June 11

Officer responded to West Church Street in reference to a report of someone removing the electric meters from the residence resulting in no power. C/p stated that a report had already been filed on the suspected offender due to him harassing them.

Officer responded to the intersection of West Meadowlake Parkway and South Main Street in reference to a truck at the stop light with the driver passed out at the wheel. Officer could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the driver. Offender was also found to have a suspended license and was arrested for a DUI as well.

Officer was dispatched to Project Street in reference to an unwanted person within a home. The offender had a firearm and marijuana on him. Offender was criminally trespassed, and warrants were taken out for possession of marijuana and the firearm.

June 12

Officers were dispatched to Williams Street for the theft of a push lawn mower. C/p stated that an unknown offender stole his lawn mower.

Officer was patrolling the area of West Morning Street and Old Nunez Road and observed a vehicle with cancelled registration and no insurance. The offender did not speak English and another officer was called for translation. The offender was issued citations, and his wife came and picked him up.

Officer was dispatched to Harvey’s Supermarket in reference to the offender pulling a gun out and arguing with a man. Upon arrival, officer spoke with a detective who stated that the offender walked across the street and struck his dog with his hand. Offender is known to carry a BB gun. Offender was criminally trespassed from the store.

June 13

Officer responded to Oaklawn Drive in reference to harassment. C/p advised that the offender arrived at her residence threatening to turn her water off and that he was going to kick her out of the residence.

Officer was dispatched to Murphy’s Gas Station in reference to a domestic that had just taken place. The victim stated that she rode to town with her ex-boyfriend and his current girlfriend. She advised that when they were at the gas pump and when the offender began pumping gas, he started arguing with the victim. He then tried to snatch her phone and struck her in the face. The couple left the victim at the scene. There was visible damage to her face.
