Four members of the "Veterans at the Library" traveled to Metter on Wednesday, November 8, to enjoy a special, no-cost event for Veterans and one guest, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pond House Restaurant in Metter, located at 1320 Crabby Lane. The meal featured harvest salad, BBQ glazed pork tenderloin, Savannah red rice, and more. The owner, Ricky Patrick, is originally from Emanuel County. His father is the late Harmon Patrick, and three of his uncles are Frank Patrick, Tom Patrick and Ed Patrick. Thanks so much for what you have done for Veterans in our area, Ricky.
