Reverend Bernard Sonny Mason, Senior Pastor of Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Augusta, was honored recently by the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church meeting in Athens, upon transferring as an elder into the North Georgia Conference from the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has been selected by the conference to travel to Little Rock Arkansas dynamic inner city Mosaic Church August 12-15 to study the congregation’s dynamic and growing ministry that promotes multiethnic and economic diversity and social justice in mission and ministry. Reverend Mason is the son of Gloria Mason and the late Dr. Raymond Mason.
