Family Connection was invited to participate in the 2023 Pre-K Fun Day after a three-year gap due to Covid 19 restrictions.
This year, Family Connection provided a free farmers market for families that was funded by a community nutrition grant from Aetna/CVS Health. The produce was provided by Pete Jackson Farms.
Family Connection also sponsored a table where children could receive things like tote bags, sunglasses, water bottles, and tattoos of fruits and vegetables.
They also had drawings for baskets with fruits and veggies and books with plush characters. The booth was manned by volunteers from Family Connection and SHS Sr Beta Club.
