Emanuel Arts Council will present a festive play Friday, Dec. 16th and Saturday, Dec. 17th, both beginning at 6:30 p.m. The play will be performed in The Kalmanson Gallery of the EAC, located at 109 North Green Street, Swainsboro, next to Bangles II Salon and Stewart’s Jewelers.

The production will consist of three short plays featuring a cast that includes Pam Baggett, Deanna Ryan, Miracle Joyner, Violet Leu Tyam, Emmi Lai Tyam, Amber Purcell, Virginia Lee Palumbo, Jessica Palumbo, Alex Smith, Beau Gunn, Matthew Fordham Jr., Kenny Griffin, and Ron Ellison, the play’s director.

“Live theatre is a meeting place where communities share dreams,” said Ellison. “These comic plays explore humorous situations imagined in today's commercial, mythical, and family celebrations of the Christmas season. Musical interludes will connect the stories with stringed instruments and songs.”

Admission to the play is free, but donations are welcome. Seating is limited in the gallery, so reservations are recommended by emailing artsemanuel@gmail.com to reserve seats for either performance.

The play is sponsored by the City of Swainsboro and made possible through a generous grant from Mill Creek Foundation. The Emanuel Arts Council, Inc. (EAC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose purpose is to empower and grow the community through cultural programs in all areas of the arts.
