We are pleased to report that the 2023 Swainsboro Primary School’s fishing rodeo was a resounding success, thanks in large part to the valuable contributions of the Swainsboro Jaycees, Swainsboro High School Fishing Team, Emanuel County Farm to School Program, and Swainsboro Primary School Administrators. A total of 33 enthusiastic fishermen and fisherwomen participated in the event, and while some fish were, unfortunately, able to evade capture, we were able to reel in a grand total of 79 fish. Congratulations to our top performers: Kayden James, who caught an impressive nine fish, as well as Berkeley Glisson, Sophia Williams, and Gunner Williams, who each caught seven fish. We are grateful for the unwavering support of our Farm to School activities.
