The Brier Creek Artillery consisting of two 6lb field cannons, one 8lb field cannon and one 6lb field naval cannon traveled with the East Fall Line Region Skunk Brigade to St. Simons Island to participate in the annual Frederica Naval Action event of the American Revolutionary War. For the second year in a row, America's Privateer, Lynx, sailed into the harbor representing the original British Ships that were part of the Frederica Naval Battle. In the event, four cannons fired three rounds each for a total of 12 rounds while the Lynx fired approximately six rounds. The patriots won again! The Brier Creek Artillery celebrated with Compatriot Mike Tomme firing one of the 6lb cannons.
