Members of the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club donated candy at their recent club meeting for Franklin Memorial Library’s second annual Trunk-or-Treat held Thursday, October 13, in the library’s parking lot. Over 600 children looked “Spooktacular” as they collected candy, reading books, coloring books and crayons, and sunglasses from a variety of decorated trunks supplied by local businesses including Emanuel County Family Connection, and the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club. Representing Kiwanis were club president Tammy Allen, board member Wanda Ellis, Mary Ellen Smith, and Petite Garrett.
