The Mill Creek Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its monthly meeting, Tuesday night, April 18, 2023, at the Ole Time Buffet in Statesboro at 6 p.m. With President Randy Jones presiding, there were 14 in attendance, including five guests. Compatriot Dess Smith III presented President Randy Jones with the Flag Streamer for the Mill Creek Chapter presenting a wreath at the "Frederica Naval Action" event at St. Simons Island on April 15, 2023. The program tonight was presented by Larry Stevens. His presentation was on The Hornets' Nest - Wilkes County, GA - 1700's.
