Officers with the Swainsboro Police Department (SPD) reported…

April 11

Complainant came into SPD to make a report. She stated that in January, she took her vehicle to Good Fellas for a motor replacement. She stated that she paid $1400 in advance. Her vehicle has still not been fixed and no one knows where the money that she paid is.

April 12

C/p came to SPD to file a report of harassing communications. She stated that on that day, that offender called her phone and was swearing at her. She stated that she hung up on her but was continuously getting threatening calls.

Officer met with c/p at the Ford dealership in reference to a stolen vehicle. Witness stated that she met with offender the day prior and that he was asking about the stolen vehicle. Offender was caught on camera.

April 14

Officer responded to Lewis Street in reference to financial transaction card fraud. Offender was arrested.

Officer met with c/p at Flanders Street in reference to a damaged vehicle. C/p advised that a tree limb fell and damaged the front windshield of her vehicle.

Officer responded to Project Street in reference to a possible hostage situation taking place. Officer advised that he observed a male running away from the location on foot. C/p walked out of the residence and stated that she allowed her child’s father into the residence several hours before to spend time with the children. A verbal argument took place over c/p not having any money to give offender and offender began to throw things. Offender also had warrants out for his arrest.

Officer arrested offender for two counts of disorderly conduct.

Officer responded to Pratt Avenue in reference to a report. C/p stated that his ex-wife is refusing to allow him to get his children, but he has visitation rights. He was not allowed to contact his ex-wife but his mother was picking up their children, but the offender wouldn’t allow it.

Officer was patrolling on South Main Street and noticed a vehicle misusing the center turn lane. Offender was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

April 15

Officer was assisting with a med call on East Main Street and heard 10-12 gunshots from the Norwood Avenue area. Officer could not locate where the shots came from.

Officer responded to the area of South Main in front of Zaxby’s in reference to a disabled vehicle in the roadway. The vehicle was in the turning lane with a broken axle.

Officer responded to Anderson Drive for a mom and child fighting. Officer observed both cussing and fighting with eachother. Both were arrested for disorderly conduct.

April 16

Officer was patrolling on South Green Street conducting check on registration and insurance. Officer ran a plate with a suspended registration and no insurance on the vehicle. Driver was arrested.

Officer responded to Lewis Street in reference to a possible fight about to take place. Victim and c/p advised that “a girl named fatty fat had a problem with a social media post.” Allegedly the offender wanted to start an altercation with the victim and c/p.

Officer responded to East Pine Street in reference to a damaged vehicle. C/p stated that the offender hit the vehicle multiple times with a baseball bat.

Officer was dispatched to Fortune Loop in reference to a criminal trespass. C/p attends church with the victim. C/p stated that she observed the bathroom window open and the screen removed. Nothing appeared to be missing from the home.

April 17

Officer arrested an offender for no insurance.

Officer arrested offender for driving with a suspended license.

Officer was dispatched to Kite Road in reference to a burglary. C/p heard someone in her home and when the burglar heard her phone ring, they ran out of the front door. C/p observed a vehicle but couldn’t get a plate number.

April 18

Officer responded to Lewis Street in reference to a stolen phone. C/p stated that her iPhone was stolen and that it was located via Find My iPhone at the location. Phone was not located.

Officer responded to Gumlog Road in reference to a male and female arguing. Offender had warrants out and was arrested.

C/p came into SPD to make a report. He advised that the offender had taken a lottery ticket form his vehicle worth $250.

Officer was on Gumlog Road conducting checks on registration and insurance. A vehicle that was unregistered was observed and a traffic stop was conducted. Driver was issued a citation for operation of an unregistered vehicle.

Officer responded to SPD to make a report. C/p stated that offender had been calling her and texting her and talking about her on social media in attempt to harass her.

Officer was dispatched to Washington Street in reference to a burglary. C/p stated that her family was out of town and when she returned her bedroom window was open. A rifle and a PlayStation were missing.

Warrants were taken out on offender terroristic threats and harassing communications.

Offender was arrested for possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana.

April 19

A warrant was served and offender was arrested.

Officers responded to the area of New Street in reference to a victim being shot. Witnesses stated that a mysterious vehicle pulled up to witness and victim and a passenger attempted to take the victim’s backpack. Offender also had a small gun pointed at victim and shot him once in the stomach. Victim was transported to EMC to await transport by helicopter.

April 20

Officer responded to Washington Avenue in reference to a report of a burglary. C/p stated that an unknown person stole meat from his freezer.

C/p found two bullet holes in their vehicle. Offender was nowhere to be found.

Officers responded to a huge fight on Gumlog Road.
