Mrs. Sherrie Lyn Terry, 56, of Kite, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at her residence following an extended illness. Funeral service was held Tuesday, August 1, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral home with Reverend Josh Black officiating. The family received friends Tuesday, August 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. Interment followed at Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were West Clark, Dalton Gallagher, Brayden Rich, Jubal Hendley, Wendy Farrow and Allen Johnson.
Sherrie was born April 5, 1967, in Swainsboro, to Edward Wilson Muns and the late Grace Smith Muns. Mrs. Terry is preceded in death by her mother.
Mrs. Terry is survived by her father, Pete Muns (Carolyn) of Swainsboro; daughters, Misty Powers of Twin City and Bamby Clark of Garfield; sisters, Angel Johnson (Calvin) of Twin City and Donna Muns Gallagher (Scott) of Clarks Hill, SC; grandchildren, Annarae Clark, Lace Clark, Grace Powers, and Gabe Powers; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
