Ms. Sheri Lyn Johnson, 54, of Swainsboro, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Eman-uel Medical Center following a brief illness. Graveside service was held Thursday, January 27, at 11 a.m. at Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Billy Faulkner, Joe Price, Christian Woods, Ashley Hooks, Bubba Newsome, and Zach Woods.

Ms. Johnson was born April 2, 1967, in Swainsboro, to Hugh B. Johnson and Martha Sue John-son. Sheri's contagious smile was a testimony to her life. Jeff, Jada and Joey, River and Taylor, and especially Joslyn, Bowen, and Molly, made her completely happy. Sheri enjoyed her peace-ful life with Jeff and the many adventures they shared. They took care of each other and loved each other like no other. One of their favorite destinations was the mountains, especially Pigeon Forge. They would hit the road any time the opportunity arose. When they were home, Sheri took pride in their house. It was always immaculate and looked like the cover of a magazine. She also had a strong bond with her parents, her sisters, Teri and Sheila, and her brother, Wes. During her life, Sheri encountered many obstacles, some of which many people could not sur-vive. But she did overcome them and always bounced back, stronger than before. She was the absolute strongest and fiercest when it came to raising and nurturing Jada and River. Ms. Johnson is preceded in death by her loving daddy, Hugh B. Johnson.

Survivors include the love of her life, Jeff Newsome of Swainsboro; mother, Martha Sue John-son of Garfield; daughters, Jada DeBoo (Joey) of Swainsboro and River Jordan (Taylor) of Ly-ons; brother, Wes Johnson (Monica) of Millen; sisters, Teri Price (Joe) of Swainsboro and Sheila Faulkner (Billy) of Twin City; grandchildren, Joslyn DeBoo, Bowen Jordan, and Molly Jordan; step-children, Jodi Singletary (Guy), Justin Newsome (Lindsey), and Jade Najjar (Joe); nieces and nephews, Patrick Price (Lauren), Marla Hooks (Ashley), Ryan Price (Kim), Christian Woods, Zach Woods, and Alaina Boulineau; several cousins and many precious friends.
