Search warrant leads to one arrest in drug trafficking case

Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted by Swainsboro Police Department officers served a search warrant on a residence on Griffin Ferry Road on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Demectric J. Hill, 33, of Stillmore was arrested and charged with Trafficking Ecstasy, Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute. The three bottles contain an undetermined amount of cash.
