Her home was always open to family and friends, as that gave her joy, and it was her way of showing her love for everyone. In Patricia’s younger years, she thoroughly enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, cross stitching and keeping her home and yard beautiful. She was also an excellent cook. Patricia was determined in nature with a gentle spirit and heart.

Patricia and Wallace were longtime members of the Dexter Baptist Church where they attended their Sunday School class together. She was also a member of the church choir. Patricia loved to sing. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lord is preceded in death by her siblings, Owen Spivey, Geneva Spivey Williamson, Merkel Spivey, Wilbur Spivey, Windel Spivey and Bobby Spivey.
