Mosley arrested in high speed chase

On Tuesday morning, August 22, at approximately 8:45 a.m., an officer with the Swainsboro Police Department attempted to make a general traffic stop on a vehicle for running a stop sign. The vehicle increased speed and attempted to flee on West Moring Street, resulting in a three-minute high-speed chase that led to North Racetrack Street. The driver then exited the vehicle and ran on foot. As officers approached the vehicle, they discovered two minor children inside.

With the help of K9 Maya and her handler, Detective Clay Young, Brian Mosley of North Racetrack Street, Swainsboro, was apprehended and charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement, trafficking cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of MDMA/Ecstasy with intent to distribute, possession of firearm by convicted felon, child endangerment x2, and driving with a suspended license – second offense. This case is still ongoing and under investigation.
