Spencer and Wanda Wood of Swainsboro are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their son, Mr. Zachary Wood, to Miss Caitlin Cato, of Bainbridge. She is the daughter of Dennis and Tracy Cato.
The groom-elect is a 2013 graduate of Swainsboro High School. He also graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in 2017, where he majored in Natural Resource Management. He is employed as a wildland firefighter.
The bride-to-be is a 2013 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 2017 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She is currently a chemistry graduate student in Athens at UGA.
The wedding is planned for August 15, 2020 in Madison.
