Miss Dana Durden's first grade class hatches chicks every year and this year they certainly did enjoy learning all about the life cycle of a chick and counting down the days until the eggs hatched. We sure do enjoy our hands on learning at DEA and this is an experience first graders don't forget! We have middle school students who checked in to see the chicks too because they had such fond memories of hatching chicks when they were in Mrs. Dana's room years ago.
