The Twin City Lions Club recently held their October lunch meeting at Simply Southern restaurant in Twin City. The guest speaker was Brent Freeman, Twin City Parks and Recreation Director. Mr. Freeman, along with others from the city, are diligently working on preparing for the upcoming third annual Cotton Blossom Festival to be held in Twin City from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 4. Mr. Freeman stated that the festival has already met capacity with vendors with over 80 already lined up for the event. There will be plenty of arts and crafts, food trucks, activities for the kids, a tractor show, live music and much more! Please come and bring the whole family!
