Emanuel County COVID-19: Decrease in active cases; increase in confirmed, recovered, and death numbers

According to the county commissioners’ noon update before press time Tuesday, November 2, the total active cases of COVID-19 in Emanuel has decreased from 69 to 42 since last week’s COVID-19 update report.

The report on October 27 was as follows:

• 69 active cases
• 1,369 confirmed cases
• 1,300 recovered
• 40 deaths

This week’s most updated information made available on November 2 is as follows:

• 42 active cases
• 1,404 confirmed cases
• 1,320 recovered
• 42 deaths

Statics reported in the October 27 and November 2 reports reveal a decrease of 27 active COVID-19 cases; an increase of 35 confirmed cases; an increase of 20 recoveries; and an increase of two deaths.
