Eloise Smith, age 62, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021. Graveside service was held Sunday, December 12, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Canoochee.
Eloise was born May 30, 1959, to Mrs. Laura Mae Patterson (Leward Williams) and Cecil Torrence, Sr. She attended Jenkins County School. Eloise was united in Holy matrimony on February 25, 1978, to Jerry Smith. Shortly after, she joined Holy Zion Holiness Church in Twin City.
Ms. Smith leaves to cherish her memories with her husband; two daughters, Laura Larita Smith (Michael Butler) of Jacksonville, FL and Tonya Patrice Smith of Garfield; three grand-daughters, Tatyena, Leyah, and Alanah Smith; grandson, Rashemell Smith; two sisters, Patricia Elliott and Brenda Volcy; two brothers, Cecil Torrence, Jr. and David Torrence; aunt, Shirley (Levi) Sapp; in-laws, Larry (Mary) Smith, Donald Smith, Eula Smith, Gloria (Roy) Robinson, Leon (Tina) Smith, Adline (Arthur) Kirkland, Ulysee (Juanese) Smith, Jr, and Anna (James) White; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
