April 9

Deputies assisted SPD with a traffic stop on N. Coleman St. Offenders were arrested for traf-ficking illegal drugs and possession of illegal drugs.

Deputies responded to 5th Ave. in Twin City for family violence. Deputies observed a tire on fire and were advised to extinguish it and spoke with the subjects and learned that a verbal domestic occurred prior to their arrival. Complainant advised her son/offender started clean-ing up the yard and began to throw several of her flowerpots in the burn pile without her consent, starring an argument.

April 10

Deputy responded in reference to a vehicle fire and located the driver at the back of the trailer being pulled by the vehicle. Driver stated he did not need EMS and was ok and advised he smelled smoke and started to pull off the road and the cab filled with smoke and he got out and noticed fire under the hood.

Deputies assisted Oak Park Police with a theft investigation. Deputies knocked on the door of a small building and heard someone answer. Appx. five minutes later, offender answered the door and advised deputies he was the only person in the building. Deputies noticed a clear homemade smoking device in clear sight and detained offender for further investiga-tion. Deputies found a crystal-like substance which field tested positive for meth, a bag of marijuana and two glass smoking devices wrapped in a hamburger wrapper. Offenders’ ve-hicle was towed.

April 11

Deputies responded in reference to an unwanted person. Deputies learned that a wanted suspect was at the location and made contact with offenders and placed them under arrest.

Deputy received a call that a vehicle looked wrecked. Deputy found the vehicle failed to ne-gotiate the curve at Coleman Lake and left the roadway and was across the ditch. Driver was not at the location.

April 12

Deputy assisted with a traffic stop where the driver was suspected to be under the influence. Deputy performed a field sobriety and determined the driver was DUI. Offender was placed under arrest.

Victim made a report stating someone called him saying they were with ECSO and that he missed his review about his PPE loan and he had a warrant for his arrests. Victim was told he could clear it up by paying $23,000. Victim put $5,750 and $7,500 in the Bit coin machine and was going to send $4,000 but was told by the store clerk not to because it was probably a scam.

Complainant stated three weeks prior, offender agreed to pay $100 for the kayak and still has not paid for it.

Deputy responded in reference to a domestic dispute.

Deputy made a traffic stop and offender was arrested for DUI.

April 13

Deputy responded to EMC ER in reference to an assault. Nurses advised victim went in due to a head injury that occurred the night prior. Deputy made contact with victim who advised she was at her ex-boyfriend’s and the two started arguing and he punched her in the back of the head with a closed fist. Victim stated she left and later had a headache so she went to the ER to get evaluated.

Deputies responded to Waller Cir. in reference to a domestic between father and son. Com-plainant stated he and his stepson got into an argument about some items in his car and c/p wanted them out. C/p stated offender refused to take the items out so c/p started tak-ing them out and offender struck him in the arm with a metal folding chair and got a knife and stabbed the rear door of the vehicle that belongs to c/p. Offender stated he was taking things out of the vehicle and c/p attacked him. Both parties wanted to press charges.
