The DEA Varsity Boys Tennis Team was defeated by Pinewood Christian Academy on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at East Georgia State College.
In singles play, Bentley Smith fell to Layton Cloud 1-6, 4-6, Eli Way was defeated by Walker Hall 2-6, 2-6, and River Holloway lost to Maddox Akins 1-6, 3-6.
The Eagles found success in doubles competition. Paxton Dixon and Ben Griner earned a strong win over Charlie Thompson and McClain Tucker 6-4, 6-2, while AJ Edenfield and Jack Evan Fields also secured a victory, defeating Wyatt Mathis and Emmett Burke 6-3, 6-1.
In an exhibition doubles match, Lawton Wiggins and Eli Way battled but were narrowly defeated by Chi Sittle and Andrew Snipes 8-10.

In singles play, Emily McRae fell to Abby Barretta in a hard-fought match 6-1, 3-6, 11-13. Lyla Martin was also narrowly defeated by Hadden Waters 4-6, 6-4, 10-12, and Aubrey Scott lost to Tylee Miles 6-6 (7-4), 3-6, 6-10.
In doubles action, Kaley Flowers and Payton Peebles were defeated by Meredith Massey and Ramsey Middleton 5-7, 3-6. Sydney Lively and Kate Yeomans fell to Ada Grace Hendrix and Addy Kirkland 1-6, 2-6.
In exhibition matches, Addalyn Terwilliger and Rayleigh Faircloth were defeated by Kamryn Waters and Krisha Patel 4-8, while Claire Metcalf and Lyla Martin earned a decisive 8-1 victory over Stevie Middleton and Mallory Akins.
