Hudson named WJBF Channel 6 “44 Strong Player of the Week”

Jake Hudson, Senior at Thomas Jefferson Academy in Louisville, was named WJBF Channel 6 News “44 Strong Player of the Week” during the September 25 broadcast of “Football Friday Night”.

Hudson earned the recognition following an outstanding performance in TJA’s 35-28 victory over Rock Springs Christian Academy on September 18. On offense, he recorded 25 carries for 201 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns and a 2-point conversion. On defense, Hudson contributed seven tackles, one interception and one tackle for a loss to help secure the win.

The “44 Strong Player of the Week” community helped Hudson receive more than 600 votes for the honor - the largest vote total in the award’s history.

Hudson is the son of Brent and Allison Hudson of Louisville, both formerly of Swainsboro. He is the grandson of Terry and Tanya Lamb, Dianne Hudson Hall, the late Jerry Hudson and the late Larry Hall, all of Swainsboro.
