Mark your calendars for this year’s second annual Cotton Blossom Festival in Twin City! This weekend only, head on down to Twin City, a town known to be “Twice as Friendly, Twice as Nice,” and enjoy food and entertainment, music, crafts and vendors and much more! The fun kicks off at 9 a.m. in between the Twin City Welcome Center and Twin City Baptist Church parking lot and will end at 5 p.m. this Saturday, November 5. The event is free and parking will be available in the ECI parking lot.
A “Don’t Bale Out” 5k led by All the Fixin’s business owner Janna Tucker is the first planned event to take place at 9 a.m. at the Twin City Welcome Center. A Fun Run for children will follow at 10 a.m. All registered runners will receive a T-shirt.
Other fun activities scheduled for this year’s annual event will include face painting, a petting zoo, slide and ax-throwing inflatables, musical performances presented by local students and county residents, educational exhibits presented by students and educators, a tractor show contest, along with large variety of food and craft vendors – including a spot to buy this year’s official Cotton Blossom t-shirts for $15 each!
The City of Twin City is also promoting a social media campaign #historictwincity and encourages this year’s guests to take pictures while attending this weekend’s event and post online with the above caption.
