CarePartners still serving amid COVID-19 pandemic

Posted

CarePartners of Georgia (CPGA) continues to provide services in its three counties (Emanuel, Candler, and Bulloch) and has implemented procedures to provide face-to-face contacts in-home and services via telecommunications.

Additionally, CPGA has partnered with Swainsboro Fire Department, and the department has provided its mobile command center for CPGA’s use. This will allow CarePartners to operate services as needed out of this mobile site. This includes psychiatric and nursing services, diagnostics/intakes, counseling services, and crisis intervention. Many services are being provided via telecommunications, but face-to-face contact may be necessary. Thus, CarePartners has infection control procedures and screenings in place for the mobile unit.

Times and locations for services provided by CPGA are as follows:

Wednesday, April 1 — Metter Park, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Emanuel County Institute parking lot, 4 to 6 p.m.
