In the wake of everything going on in this world, don't forget to stay blood covered. When evil forces come against you, stay blood covered. Stay covered with the blood of Jesus. See, you have to choose your blood covering. Whose blood do you want to cover you? So why is that question important? Well because some have just finished saluting Halloween and the blood distracted by the vampire.
Joshua told the children of Israel, when they were delivered and made it to the Promised Land, to "choose you this day whom you shall serve…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” No matter how enticing it looks or what everyone else is doing, don't get caught up in celebrating Halloween if you are a child of God and covered in the blood of Jesus Christ.
In John 10:10 Jesus says, "Satan comes but to steal, kill and destroy, but I come that you might have life and that more abundantly". No, Jesus didn't come to suck blood, but he came to give this blood that we might live. Don't get it twisted. Halloween is promoted by merchants to get money, your money which says, "In God we trust". If you trust him, why are you celebrating the devil with the witches and warlocks? God commanded all witches to be killed.
Let us celebrate the harvest that God has given us. Let's not give what God has made to the devil. The corn, the pumpkin, and everything made represents God providing for us. The gathering of the crops. It is truly Harvest Time. For Psalms 24:1 tells us, "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein."
Yes, everything and everybody belongs to God. That's why God loved the world so much that he gave Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, to shed his blood to cover our sins so that we might have life more abundantly, yes that we might have everlasting life. So, whose blood is covering you? Choose you this day whom you are going to serve. Don't give your children and grandchildren over to the devil. Psalms 127:3 tells us, "Children are a heritage unto the Lord and the fruit of the womb is his reward."
