Executive Summary Virtual Public Hearing

Statewide

Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) will host a virtual public hearing regarding the Statewide Broadband OMC project in accordance with P3 Rule 672-17-.04(3)(g).

The selected OMC Contractor will maintain a portion of the broadband network infrastructure dedicated to Georgia DOT’s use and will operate, maintain, and commercialize a portion of the broadband network dedicated to commercial use. The OMC Contractor will help maintain the robust interstate communication network that Georgia DOT is developing.

The purpose of this virtual public hearing is to provide the public an opportunity to view and comment on executive summaries prepared by Proposers responsive to the Request for Proposals (RFP) regarding the operations, maintenance, and commercialization approach for the project.

Georgia DOT has developed an internet platform to conduct this virtual public hearing. Executive summaries will be published and made available online for review and public comment at https://statewidebroadbandnetworkoperations-gdot.hub.arcgis.com/ under the "Executive Summary" tab for thirty (30) days beginning Friday, September 6, 2024. Interested parties are invited to visit the website to provide feedback and comments until Sunday, October 6, 2024.
