East Georgia State College hosted a "Veterans Appreciation Day" at the college's basketball games on Wednesday night at the college at 5 p.m. About 35 veterans attended both games, which were both won by EGSC. All the veterans attending said this might be their first time attending, but it will not be their last. The vets all wore their "Wreaths Across America" RED shirts reminding everyone of the Dec 16 wreath placing ceremony event that will take place on Saturday, December 16, at the Swainsboro City Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thanks, EGSC for honoring them.
