Twin City Elementary celebrated Red Ribbon Week, October 27–31, encouraging students to make healthy, drug-free choices under the theme “Life is a Puzzle, Solve it Drug Free.”
Throughout the week, students participated in engaging activities, including a door decorating contest, daily trivia, and creative challenges such as poster, coloring, and pumpkin decorating contests. School counselor Ms. Nikki Green added more excitement with special activity sheets and a scavenger hunt, giving students a chance to earn prizes.
The celebration concluded with TCE’s beloved Book Parade, where each class dressed as characters from favorite stories and paraded for families and community guests.
Contest winners included:
Book Parade: Mrs. Kathy Jordan’s class (Overall PreK–2), Fifth Grade (Overall 3–5)
