Twin City Elementary School celebrated its September Students of the Month on Friday, September 25, recognizing students who exemplify the character trait of responsibility. Teachers selected students for consistently demonstrating responsibility in the classroom and throughout the school.
Before the celebration, students participated in a fun Student of the Month coloring and word-search activity. During the ceremony, Mrs. Southall called each honoree forward and shared a special note from their teacher explaining why they were selected. Ms. Jessica Collins presented each student with a certificate recognizing their accomplishment.
After the ceremony, students enjoyed donuts and juice with their families as they celebrated together. TCE would also like to thank Ay Wey and Wendy’s for donating prizes for the Student of the Month celebration. Congratulations to all of the September Students of the Month! TCE is proud of the way these students demonstrate responsibility and serve as positive examples for their classmates.
