On Friday, David Emanuel Academy faced Sherwood Christian Academy
in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The David Emanuel
Academy Eagles were dealt a 50-6 defeat at the hands of the Sherwood
Christian Academy Eagles. The game marked David Emanuel Academy's
lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Richard Braddy picked up 15 receiving yards and a touchdown. Peyton
Lee was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards. On the ground,
Clayton Hood rushed for 31 yards.
David Emanuel Academy dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss,
which was their third straight on the road.
