Students from Swainsboro High School and the 21st Century Leaders program recently participated in a job shadowing event at Nordson Corporation, where they explored real-world careers in engineering, manufacturing, and business.
Throughout the day, students toured the facility, spoke with professionals, and learned how different departments work together to keep operations running smoothly. They also discovered the importance of skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving in achieving success in the workplace.
Teachers and program coordinators explained that experiences like this help students connect what they learn in the classroom to future career paths. These opportunities also give students a clearer picture of the many choices they have after graduation.
