2020 presented many challenges, we are all very aware of that. But, it also created moments where we came together and got creative. In our upcoming Progress edition, we want to highlight moments like that.
The Sunshine House Give-A-Thon was certainly one of those special items. When it became obvious that their normal fundraising event wasn't going to be possible, Sunshine House board member and South Auction's Rusty Lane drew some inspiration from the telethons of the past. With a lot of support from his family, staff, volunteer support and fellow Emcee Judge Bobby Reeves, the Sunshine House Give-A-Thon was born.
