As our 2026 Summer Reading Program comes to a close, Franklin Memorial Library would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, performers, volunteers, community partners, and patrons. Your support helped make this summer one filled with learning, laughter, and wonderful memories. While our Summer Reading Program activities have ended, we encourage everyone to keep reading. Participants should also keep an eye on our Facebook page, where Summer Reading Program Grand Prize winners will be announced in July.
Please note that the library will be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen on Monday, July 6, with regular hours. Although we will not be hosting crafts during July, all regular library services will remain available including books, DVDs, computer access, faxing, scanning, notary services, and more. As we enjoy a well-earned break from our busy summer schedule, we are already looking forward to future programs and events. Thank you for another incredible summer, and we look forward to seeing you at the library soon!
