June 24

Officers responded to a report of theft. The complainant stated the stolen items were his children’s birth certificates, social security cards, clothes, and shoes.

Officer performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle making a wide turn into oncoming traffic. When pulled over, the vehicle had a noticeable odor of marijuana. While searching the vehicle, the officers found a bottle of Jack Daniels and a 12-gauge shotgun. He was arrested on suspicion for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

June 25

A report of a dispute was made. The complainant stated a male brought females to her house to fight her daughter. She had bite marks and a torn shirt. The incident was over before officers arrived.

Officers were dispatched in reference to a cruelty to animals’ call. A dog had hung itself by a leash. When observing the area, there was no food or water within reach of the dog. Animal control was called to take possession of another dog, because it wasn’t being watered or fed. The owner was arrested.

June 26

Officers were dispatched in reference to an unwanted person at a residence. The complainant stated the male had already slashed her tire. The male was making threats as well. She was informed on how to get a TPO.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign. The driver failed to stop at first, but wasn’t going at a high rate of speed. When they pulled over, they were arrested for having a suspended license, eluding the law, and failing to stop at a stop sign.

Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct. The offender was disrespecting her grandmother, and was taken to the SPD for an interview. She was later released.

June 27

A stolen firearm was reported. The complainant stated when he realized the rifle was gone, he contacted the suspect, and they denied it and hung up.

June 28

A dispute was reported. The complainant stated the offender attempted to take her phone, then proceeded to push her. The offender stated she only came because she was told to.

Officers were dispatched in reference to three vehicles pulling up in the victim’s yard. The victim wouldn’t speak with the officers. They went to go find the offender, and the victim had jumped shortly after. She was beaten up, and threatened with a taser. She then went walking and cussing very loudly in town, so she was arrested.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having canceled registration. When pulled over, the driver stated he didn’t have a license. His left tag light was also out. He was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a dispute. The complainant stated her co-worker is stalking her and trying to fight her because she talks to the co-worker’s ex.

A report of a dispute was made. An irate boyfriend got mad over his girlfriend laughing at another male’s joke. He jumped the counter and threatened to fight the male.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having a suspended registration. The driver was given an official notice of suspension.

Two males reported being robbed at gunpoint after offering the stranger a ride.

A report on a stolen generator was made.

June 29

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle not having insurance. When pulled over, the officers discovered the driver was wanted in Hall County, and was arrested.

A report of a stolen trail camera was made.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a vehicle having a brake light out. The officers then noticed a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle. The passenger had the marijuana on him, and was arrested.

Officers arrested a female who had active warrants. When in custody, she had drug related objects on her person.

A citizen turned in two missing debit cards that were found on McCloud Bridge Road.

Officers responded to a report of theft. The complainant stated a female told them she had nowhere to stay, so they let them stay the night. The next morning, the offender had left and took all the cash out of the complainant’s wallet. Then, the complainant was getting harassing phone calls being blamed for abusing the girl, which was denied.

A report of stalking was made. The complainant stated he keeps getting threatening phone calls and voice messages telling him to stay away from the offender’s wife.
