September 15

Complainant went to SPD and stated he was at WalMart and returned to his vehicle to find it had been hit, causing extensive damage.

911 dispatched officers to S. Main St. in reference to an irate male inside the store. Complainant stated a male subject was fussing and cussing and she advised him not to inside the store and he continued, and asked if they sold meth and what the bongs and pipes were for, then left the store in a described vehicle. Officer made contact with the male subject who stated he was at the vape shop when a male subject opened his truck door and hit his vehicle and went inside the shop and he followed him inside and the clerk advised it wasn’t going to happen in there. C/p stated offender entered into the building all hyped up using profanity and began asking if they sold meth and pipes. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer met with complainant at SPD in reference to a harassment report. C/p stated her niece had some work done by offender and gave offender c/p’s phone number to have a sign made. C/p stated she made the sign and met offender at the fountain in town and he paid her. C/p stated offender then made a sexual comment and she walked away and got in her vehicle and left. C/p stated offender kept calling and texting her so she blocked him, then he called her son go see him without his badge on. C/p advised this has been going on for appx. three weeks. Officer got offender’s cell phone number and called him to get his side of the story and he said he never did any of this and never met c/p in the middle of town to get a sign. Offender was advised not to have any more contact with c/p or she would press charges.

Officers were dispatched to N. Main St. in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated the offender showed up at his residence upset because she was evicted from c/p’s property she was renting. C/p stated offender told him that the judge gave her his address and told her that if she wanted to speak with c/p, she would have to go to his house. C/p then stated that he was told by some friends that offender made the comment to some folks that she had a gun when she went there but he never saw a gun. C/p wanted a report in case something happens.

September 16

Officer was dispatched to a reckless driver call on S. Main St. Officer made contact with the vehicle and it was weaving inside and outside lanes crossing the lines at times and made an improper lane change, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer made contact with the driver who could barely speak fluent English and asked for his license and insurance. Officer could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the driver and asked if he had consumed any alcoholic beverages and he stated no. Officer asked the driver to step out of the vehicle and he was stumbling and very unsteady. Offender was asked if he would perform a PBT and he stated yes. Offender would blow then stop, then stated he wouldn’t do it anymore. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer responded to a call on King Circle Dr. in reference to a fight. Complainant stated she went to the park to see her brother where offender was having her child’s birthday party. She stated a dispute has been going on for appx. six months over a shoplifting case and when she got out of her vehicle, offender went over and punched her in the face. Offender stated c/p went to the park and threatened her mother and in fear for the safety of others, she hit c/p.

Officer responded to Lee St. in reference to complainant stated his brother/offender is using drugs and he got a crack pipe out of offender’s pocket told offender he was going to tell his parole officer he is using again.

Officer was dispatched to Hill St. in reference to a vehicle traveling too fast. Officer was stopped by a concerned citizen who stated the vehicle had a paper tag on it and the officer observed the vehicle with the driver not wearing a seatbelt. Officer also noticed the driver as a female known to him and was aware that she had suspended license at one time. Officer then initiated a traffic stop and both the driver and passenger are known to use illegal drugs. Officer asked the driver for her license and she stated she did not have a license and they are suspended. Offender was arrested and transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer observed a vehicle with a headlight out, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell a faint odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the driver and asked if he had anything to drink and he stated a sip or so. Officer asked the driver to step out of the vehicle and he was unsteady on his feet and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy. Officer then asked the driver to perform a field sobriety. Offender did a PBT and tested positive. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officers were dispatched to W. Moring St. in reference to someone having a gun pointed at them. Officers spoke with complainant who is the owner of La Rosita and she was very upset and scared. C/p stated she was getting in o her vehicle when and unknown male subject approached her and asked for some money. When c/p told offender she didn’t have any money, he pulled a pistol out and pointed it at her and stated he would kill her. C/p stated she then took off in her vehicle.

September 17

Officers were dispatched to The Deluxe Inn in reference to a male saying he was assaulted by his girlfriend’s family. Complainant stated his girlfriend’s father showed up and punched him as soon as he opened the door and he was assaulted by three people. C/p stated his girlfriend’s family thinks he has been putting his hands on his girlfriend and forced her to leave with them.

Officer observed a vehicle with only one headlight working and a taillight not working, at which time he attempted to make a traffic stop but the vehicle was not stopping. The vehicle finally pulled over and the driver was advised to put both hands out the window. Officer then approached the vehicle and gave command for the driver to exit the vehicle. Officer then asked the driver why he didn’t stop and he stated his girlfriend was throwing up and he was just trying to get her home. Offender also stated didn’t have his license on him and he was scared he would get in trouble. Officer spoke with the girlfriend who did not appear to be throwing up or even sick, so he asked why the driver didn’t stop and she stated he was scared because he didn’t have his license and that he told her he was trying to stop but something was wrong with his brakes. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer responded to McLeod Bridge Rd. for a broken window. Complainant stated she got home to find a window broken and officer observed glass on the inside and outside of the window and the screen had been put back in the window. Officer also saw where it looked like a tool was. Used to open the window from the outside. Nothing was reported missing.

September 18

Officer was dispatched to McMillan Dr. in reference to complainant stating while riding his golf cart with his one-year-old daughter, his neighbor’s dog chase them and bit the golf cart and this is not the first time he has had dealings with the dog. As the officer was leaving, the dog ran out of the yard and started chasing his vehicle. The owner of the dog was not home so officer advised 911 to call AC1.

September 20

Officer met with complainant on Short St. in reference to a call about a possible hit and run. Officer observed several scratches on the vehicle. C/p stated he went to WalMart and thinks a cart may have hit his vehicle.

Officer responded to Modoc Rd. in reference to a domestic. EMS was pouring water over victim’s head due to c/p advising offender poured antifreeze all over victim and sprayed spray paint in her eyes after completely destroying the residence. Victim refused transport and stated she may go to the hospital later. Victim stated a verbal altercation took place and offender left with her cell phone that he broke before he left. Victim calmed down and advised she wasn’t’ going to court and didn’t’ want to be a victim and was not very cooperative. Victim stated all she wanted is her belongings and she was leaving. Offender’s mother arrived and advised she would locate offender to find c/p’s items and get them back to her.
