March 27
Officer met with the complainant at SPD in reference to an entering auto and theft of two pistols. C/p reported that the pistols were left inside of the vehicle on a regular basis and that he last remembered seeing the pistols approximately two weeks prior.
April 10
Officer was dispatched to Peebles Street in reference to criminal trespass. C/p reported that on April 7, he went to his rental property and found the offender squatting inside the structure. Officers arrived on the scene and instructed the offender to leave. C/p returned to the property on April 10 and found offender there again.
Officer met with c/p at SPD on reference to a report. C/p advised that her step-daughter came to her place of business and attempted to open the door by the door knob, then left after figuring out that it was locked. C/p advised that she did not want her husband’s daughter anywhere near the property.
Officer responded to Thompson Street in reference to a report of threats received vis text message. C/p stated that she received a text that she took as a threat. She was advised to block the number and report and further harassing communication.
April 11
Officer was patrolling the area of Tiger Trail running license plates and came across a vehicle with cancelled registration. The driver also had a suspended license. Offender was arrested.
Officer responded to McDonald’s in reference to an unwanted person who refused to leave the location. Upon arrival, officer spoke with complainant who pointed out offender who was asleep at a table in the restaurant. Offender had reportedly been kicked out of a halfway house. Offender was arrested.
Officer arrested an offender for driving with a suspended license.
Officer was dispatched to South Main Street in reference to harassing phone calls. C/p reported that Waffle King has received 12 calls from an unknown telephone number. Offenders threatened the c/p along with the business itself.
