March 10

Officer was dispatched to the Budget Inn in reference to a woman believing that she was being stalked by her co-worker’s wife and she wanted to make a report. Complainant stated that she was receiving texts and received a letter from the offender whom she suspected to be her co-worker’s wife. Information was gathered.

Officer was informed that offender had a state probation warrant. Officer went to offender’s place of work and offender was placed under arrest.

Officer observed a vehicle run a stop sign and initiated a traffic stop. Offender was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Officer was dispatched to Gumlog Road in reference to damage to a vehicle. Upon arrival, officer spoke with c/p who stated that her ex-boyfriend cut her seats and damaged her car. Damage to the car was observed.

March 11

Officer was dispatched to Arden Drive in reference to damage to property. Victim stated that his ex-girlfriend came to his residence after being told not to come because it was his father’s birthday. The offender took victim’s clothes wrapped up in tape and threw them through his back bedroom window. Officer also met with offender on West Meadowlake who stated that the victim told her to come to talk things out and to get his stuff back. She also stated that the window was already broken. The owner of the residence is requesting that the victim pay for the damage to the window, the offender’s mother stated that she will get with the victim’s father to pay for damages.

Officer was dispatched to Enmarket in reference to a report. C/p stated that her vehicle was hit by the door of another vehicle.

Officers responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. Offender had skip scanned multiple items adding up to $60.37. Offender was arrested.

Officer was in the parking lot of Walmart when he observed offender driving a vehicle, but he recalled that she had a suspended license. Driver was arrested.

Officer was dispatched to North Racetrack Street in reference to an altercation. 911 advised that there were gunshots in the area as well. The altercation was talked through and there were no gunshots.

A warrant was served at D&I Food Mart.

March 12

911 dispatched officers to Lucky Street in reference to a burglary. C/p stated that he went to the store and left his back door unlocked because he was only going to be gone for a few minutes. Upon his return, he found someone had taken his XBOX and his controller.

Officer responded to MLK Jr Blvd in reference to a dispute.

March 13

Officer was dispatched to West Moring Street in reference to dispute.

Officer responded to Thompson Street in reference to a dispute that had taken place earlier in the day.

March 15

Officer arrested offender for a warrant and interference with a police officer.

Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a call about a hit and run. Officer was approached by c/p who stated that her vehicle had been hit. Video footage was watched, but no evidence of the vehicle being hit was found.

Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a woman missing her wallet.

Officer was dispatched to Sutton Drive in reference to a dog trying to bite someone. Offender was issued a citation for dog at large.

March 16

Officer ran the registration on a vehicle and it came back that the vehicle’s registration was suspended and had no valid insurance. The driver also had a passenger with an active warrant out. Both were arrested.

Officer was dispatched to Emanuel Medical Center in reference to a call about elderly abuse. C/p stated that she was abused at the care facility she was in. It was stated that offender had gotten angry with c/p because she didn’t finish her supper. She stated many other things that have taken place, and a report was taken.

Officer served a probation warrant on Lucky Street.

Officer was dispatched Southy Main Street in reference to a female caller who stated that there was someone in her vehicle that she did not know. The offender left walking and got into another vehicle and a traffic stop was performed on this vehicle. Offender was very intoxicated. He was arrested for DUI and open container.

Officer responded to Walgreens in reference to a scam. C/p stated that he got a call on his phone from someone stating that he was a law enforcement officer and that he had two outstanding warrants that needed to be taken care of. At the male’s direction, he obtained 5 green dot cards totaling $2100.00 and 2 Google Play cards totaling $400.00. The male got the codes and then blocked c/p’s number.
