November 11
Officer was reviewing the outstanding warrants list and observed an active warrant for offender. They responded to Gumlog Road and arrested offender.
Officers responded to Project Street in reference to a dispute. It was later found out that the offender went to the residence to confront c/p about a car that she had previously transferred over to him. He was advised to go to the tag office and provide them with the ownership documentation.
Officer was approached by c/p who stated that her firearm was stolen from her vehicle.
Officer was dispatched to North Coleman Street in reference to a stolen package.
Officer responded to East Pine Street in reference to an unwanted subject. The residence was cleared with negative contact.
Officer responded to the Emanuel County Tax Office for a vehicle that was keyed in the parking lot.
Officer was dispatched to Harmon Road in reference to a drone issue. C/p advised that she had seen the drone over her house and didn’t know who owned it. The operator was contacted and stated that he was testing the drone for hunting season.
November 12
Officer took a report at SPD in reference to a missing vehicle from a dealership. C/p stated that there was no tag displayed and that it was possible that it was loaned out to someone.
Officer responded to Gumlog Road in reference to a domestic dispute. C/p stated that the father of her child was at her apartment. She also stated that her 5-month-old had a doctor’s appointment and the father never showed up. She then stated that he showed up at the apartment and was angry stating that he was not informed about the appointment. He then got in her face and tried to get physical with her.
Officers responded to North Coleman Street in reference to females trying to fight and one had a knife. Upon arrival a female was observed sitting on the porch with the knife and was instructed to drop it. She then dropped it and it was secured. All parties were separated.
Officer took a report at SPD in reference to a stolen bicycle.
Officer was dispatched to Family Dollar in reference to a suspicious person. The called advised 911 that the male subject was rolling around the ground and had gotten up. It was found out that the male was having a schizophrenic episode and was transported to Emanuel Medical Center.
Officer was dispatched to King Circle Drive in reference to a possible dispute. The resident stated that she had gotten into a small dispute with her ex-husband and that he left the residence.
November 13
Officer responded to West Meadowlake Parkway in reference to a vehicle parked in the corner of Harmon Park. The vehicle was filled with smoke and there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from it. A search was conducted and marijuana was located, but due to the cooperation of the occupants, they were ordered to stomp it on the ground and leave with a licensed driver.
Officers responded to Walgreens for a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the parking lot. C/p stated that she was in the store shopping and came outside and noticed that her vehicle had been struck. Surveillance footage showed a vehicle backing into the SUV and leaving the scene without reporting the incident.
Officer was dispatched to Advance Street in reference to a 911 hang up call. The resident stated that she called to report a stolen firearm but did not remember the serial number.
