September 11
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated he lost his wallet containing credit cards, bank card, SS card, DL and cash in it.
Officers took a walk-in report where complainant stated his boss purchased property on Rentz St. and he wanted to make a complaint regarding children riding 4-wheelers across the yard of the property. Officer went and spoke with the children’s father and advised him that the property had been purchased and the owner did not want his children riding across the yard and he stated he would keep them off the property.
Officer was dispatched to N Anderosn Dr. in reference to a physical altercation. Officer spoke with a worker who advised the two involved have ongoing issues and frequently argue, and offender started striking victim from behind.
September 12
Officer was dispatched to E Pine St.; in reference to an unwanted person. Complainant stated she wanted her brother/offender to leave the residence due to not following the rules and being disrespectful toward her. Offender was found to have an outstanding warrant out of another county that wanted a hold placed. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to a single MVA on N Racetrack St. and 911 advised that the registered owner reported the vehicle stolen. Officers went to Summit Ave. to speak with the registered owner who stated no one had permission to drive the vehicle and was asked if she knew an individual whose ID was found inside the vehicle, and she advised it was her son.
Officers were dispatched to Gumlog Rd. in reference to a domestic involving property damage and not being returned to its owner.
Officers were dispatched to Old Nunez Rd. in reference to a physical altercation. Complainant was standing in the yard and appeared upset. Officer observed redness around her neck with nail marks and scratches. C/p stated her boyfriend got upset when she asked him about getting up and helping her cook and grabbed her by the throat and forced her to the ground and held her so tight that her arms and legs started shaking. C/p also stated that offender threatened to kill her and her ex-husband if she called him. Offender was also in possession of a firearm during the time of the altercation and is on parole, so he put it in his brother’s vehicle before his brother left. Contact was made with the brother and advised him to return the firearm, which he did. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers responded to Burger King in reference to a female being harassed. Complainant stated offender stated offender showed up at Dollar Tree parking lot as she was leaving and started yelling at her from her vehicle then started following her while continuing to yell out the window. C/p stated she turned into BK and called 911 due to the incident occurring in front of her children and this is not the first time she reported similar behavior involving offender.
Officer responded to Bobcat Ln. for assistance. Offender stated he was on campus visiting a friend and was trying to leave when a female attempted to hit him.
Officer responded to Waffle King in reference to a female acting strange and talking about a needle and needing an ambulance to transport her to a hospital in Conyers. Officer spoke with the female who advised she has seizures and autism as medical conditions and stated she did not want to stay at the Personal Care Home and she felt she received better care at the hospital in Conyers, so she left walking. She stated she was picked up and transported to EMC ER and after leaving, she caught a ride to WK. Officers made contact with someone at the PCH who advised to transport her back there, in which they did.
September 13
Officers were dispatched to Huddle House in reference to a female caller stating a male followed her there and she was terrified. Officer advised other officers that this is an ongoing incident stemming from a domestic that occurred at GSU-EGC campus. Victim stated offender forced himself into his ex-girlfriend’s dorm room, broke her cellphone and punched her in the face. Offender was later located and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to Swainsboro Apts. in reference to a female caller stating somebody we going in and out of her window at night because she is unable to lock it. Complainant stated offender has been staying there for some time and during her explaining everything, her 4-year-old stated “daddy hit me in the nose”. C/p gave permission for officer to speak with the juvenile and she stated that her father kicked her in the stomach and hit her in the nose but told her he was sorry and didn’t mean to. Officer then observed dry blood on the floor and on the juvenile’s nose and shirt. Officer met with offender later at SPD and he stated the juvenile’s little brother threw a bowl of cereal on the floor and got up to spank him and when he reared back, the juvenile walked out and his hand made contact with her nose. He stated he immediately told her he was sorry and he didn’t mean to and that it hurt him knowing he hurt her and that he would never hit his kids anywhere other than their buttocks. When asked about kicking her, he stated it sounded like something their mother would tell her to say because his feet are made for walking and he would never kick his child.
Officer responded to Modoc Rd. in reference to a stolen vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to S Green St. in reference to a complaint of a wallet and keys being stolen containing his debit card, DL and $45 - $50 cash. C/p stated his vehicle, and house keys were also missing.
September 14
Officer responded to Pughsley St. in reference to a possible domestic. Complainant stated she received a text from victim to call 911. Officer made contact with victim who stated offender was heavily using drugs and took her cellphone. She also advised that part of offender’s bond conditions, he was not supposed to be at her residence.
Officer responded to Murphy USA in reference to a disorderly conduct complaint. Victim state offender attempted to buy cigarettes using an ID card on his phone and she advised him that she could not accept that and he got upset and cussed her, making threats.
Officer received an email from Adult Protective Services stating victim was making complaints of the care home she was staying at taking her money. Officer made contact with the Asst. Admin. Who stated all bank records had been turned over to APS and that any money victim has left out of her check goes into her checking account and she has a bank card to use her money the way she chooses.
Officer responded to PrimeTime Liquor in reference to a theft. Owner stated she discovered a security camera mounted on the outside of the building was missing and it’s valued at appx. $1,500. She advised she suspects a male who resides next door may be responsible for taking it. Officer reviewed the business’ security footage and observed a male subject approach the building and remove the camera.
September 15
Officers responded to Lucky St. in reference to a house fire.
Officer responded to W Main St. in reference to damage to a building caused by EMS while leaving the scene and transporting a combative patient from the location to the ER.
Officer responded to Advance St. in reference to someone wanting to report money they received connected to a possible fraud scam. It was determined that the offender has scammed people in the past and been arrested for it.
Officer was dispatched to McLeod Bridge Rd. in reference to a male showing up and punching another male in the face.
Officers were dispatched to Lee St. in reference to a female busting the window. Complainant stated offender was intoxicated and got mad and busted the window. She was transported to EmCo Jail.
September 16
Officer was dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to a child refusing to go to school. Complainant/mother stated her child was refusing to go to her first day of alternative school due to her threatening the principal at school. Officers spoke with the juvenile and advised her to get dressed and they would take her to school and she stated she was not getting ready and went inside and slammed the door. Officer contacted DJJ per protocol and advised the mother.
Officer observed an abandoned vehicle on Tyson St. parked in the driving lane with the hood raised. Officer attempted to contact the listed number, but the number was disconnected. Vehicle was towed.
Officer took a walk-in report in referenced to credit card fraud that occurred at ABC Food Mart.
Officer served a warrant on offender and transported him to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to Lake Luck Dr. in reference to a welfare check on a 34-year-old with suicidal thoughts. Officer spoke with the female who stated she was having relationship problems but is not suicidal, just says things to get the attention of her partner in hopes to make it work between them.
September 17
Officer transported offender to EmCo Jail in reference to a probation violation.
Officer was dispatched to Easy Stop in reference to a male striking a fuel pump multiple times with his fist.
