SHS Tigers 2021 Region 2AA Champs

Swainsboro High School’s Tiger stadium daunted shades of pink for Friday night’s Pink out game against Toombs County Bulldogs. The Region 2AA championship game kicked off at 7:30 p.m. and ended with Tiger victory of 33-7.

The varsity Tigers led throughout the game, ending the first quarter 7-0 and second quarter 20-0. It wasn’t until after the game’s half time that the Tigers allowed the bulldogs to score a touchdown. By the end of the third quarter, the Tigers led 33-7. No additional points were gained in the game’s fourth quarter for either team.

The Tigers will host the Vidalia Indians for the last regular season game on Friday, November 5. The Varsity team will lace up their cleats to compete in the Georgia High School Association Football Playoffs the following week. The game will be hosted at Tiger Field on Friday, November 12.
